We are looking for a Temporary Veterinarian for Summer 2026

Are you nearing the end of your veterinary education and want to work as a Temporary Veterinarian in the summer of 2026? Welcome to us!

About the clinic:

Just a stone's throw from Lake Vättern and Varamobadet, you will find the privately-owned Motala Animal Clinic. We offer quality veterinary care for dogs, cats, and small animals. We also perform horse vaccinations.

The clinic is equipped with X-ray, lab, an operating room with gas anesthesia, dental department, a large outpatient department, a store with food, and more. The staff currently consists of 3 veterinarians, 2 veterinary nurses, 4 animal caregivers, and 1 clinic manager. We are a wonderful team with a supportive atmosphere where we can share both joy and sorrow with each other.

Who we are looking for:

As a Temporary Veterinarian with us, you will be involved in all parts of the operation, of course with support from experienced colleagues, and you will have the opportunity to follow your patients from A to Z.

We would very much like you to have a connection to Östergötland and that you might consider working a bit extra after the summer if we enjoy working together.

We believe that you are cheerful, curious, and not afraid of a challenge. It is important to us that you enjoy meeting people as much as animals, as we want to build long-term relationships with both pet owners and patients who visit us. We therefore expect you to have a good sense of customer service and be able to handle multiple tasks at once.
